We want to help.
We formed our Justice and Compassion Ministry to give us tangible ways to reach those in need.
When you look at the words “justice” and “compassion” in the Bible, you’ll find that more often than not, they go together. The original words, signifying “to make right” and “with loving kindness” embody the heart of our ministry.
We want to be in places that are broken or hurting and help make them right with God’s loving kindness. We also recognize that when we take those risks, we are more of the people God intended us to be. It’s one of those beautiful paradoxes of the Christian life: you think you are part of changing something and in the end, it is you who are changed.
We are leaving comfort for compassion.
