EVE OF CHRISTMAS EVE
Joy to the world! The Lord is come; Let earth receive her King!
Invite your friends and family to join us for our Eve of Christmas Eve service, 7 p.m. Dec. 23 at Bolingbrook High School. We are filled with joy and expectation as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior! Childcare will be available for birth to 3. Refreshments will be served after the service. Please pick up a stack of invitations at the Info Table to invite your friends and family. We also have an online invitation you can send by e-mail at www.eveofeve.eventbrite.com or on Facebook.
SMALL GROUPS
If you are not plugged in to a small group, Sunday is your chance to sign up! It’s our desire that every adult in our body will leave isolation for community and leave safety for adventure by attending a small group! Stop by the Info Table for details or sign up online. The next small group session begins the week of Jan. 8.

FAMILY SUNDAY
Sunday is Family Sunday. Children in kindergarten and up will worship with their parents in Big Church. This gives our families an opportunity to worship together, and it gives our volunteers a week off of serving. On Dec. 23 and Jan. 1, kids in preschool and up will worship with their families. We will have childcare for birth to age 3 on those two dates.
CHRISTMAS DAY
We will not have a church service on Dec. 25 because we can’t use Bolingbrook High School on Christmas Day. We hope you have a blessed day celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Please feel free to worship at home or visit another church that morning.
IN THE NEW YEAR
What better way to ring in the New Year than to worship together? We will meet at our regular place and time on New Year’s Day — 10 a.m., Jan. 1. We will have childcare available for birth to age 3 that Sunday. Kids in preschool and up will worship with their parents in Big Church.
ON THE EDGE
We will begin a new sermon series Jan. 8, called “On the Edge.” Get ready to start the new year with a 40-day spiritual bootcamp. We will be starting off the new year with a challenge to build your spiritual muscles through reading God’s Word, prayer and accountability. Get ready for a challenge that could change your life!
PARENTSTUFF
RSVP by Jan. 15 for our first ParentStuff meeting to learn how to walk your children through the basics of baptism. Our KidsTown volunteers meet once a month for KidStuff — but they are inviting all parents to their February meeting to help us all build our homes of faith. Pastor Ben will lead the class on how to teach someone else what it means to be baptized. This meeting is open to all adults, even if your child isn’t considering baptism in the near future. ParentStuff is 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 11. Location TBD. Please sign up at the Info Table or online.

HYMN SING
Mark your calendars for Jan. 14 for a hymn sing at Sunrise Senior Center. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or just like to sing in the shower, come and connect with the residents of Sunrise with some good old fashioned music! Meet at Sunrise, 960 E. Chicago Ave., Naperville, at 9:30 a.m. Sign-up at the Info Table or online.

WORLD FOCUS
For our missionaries living on the other side of the world, the Christmas season can be very different than it is here in the United States. And yet, in many ways, our lives have more in common than you might think. Find out more about the lives of one of the families The Sanctuary supports by checking out the “World Focus” blog post on our web site. Visit www.cometothesanctuary.org/world-focus to read more.
