Diversity has become a heated topic in today’s culture. Jesus consistently moved toward reconciliation by elevating women, people of lower class and those outside of Israel.  At The Sanctuary, we have an opportunity to not only unify around Jesus, but break down barriers created by sexism, classism and racism. How can we follow His example and find unity in diversity? We’ll explore that question during our new sermon series, beginning Nov. 11, as we unpack what the Bible says about living as ONE.

ONE CONVERSATION

At the end of our sermon series, ONE, we will be hosting a lunch to create conversation about finding unity in diversity. David Spencer, senior pastor at The Church of Chicago, will facilitate a discussion on how the church can become more aware of the diversity in our community and love each other better. Pastor Spencer also will be preaching two of the messages during the sermon series. Please sign up at the Info Table if you plan to attend the lunch after second service Dec. 2.
