We all have questions. You will find a safe place to explore the big questions of life as part of our Explore God discussion group starting Sunday. Meet in the Green Room during second service if you would like to actively participate in dialogue around the questions during the series. Maybe you aren’t in a growth group right now or you are new to The Sanctuary and want to connect with others. The discussion group will help you dive deep into the topics discussed each week and also help you learn to navigate questions posed by others. You can find the discussion guide here or on The Sanctuary app.

Pastor Ronn and Sanctuary elders will be visiting each growth group during the next few weeks to answer questions about the proposal to join in ministry with Highpoint Church in Naperville. If you aren’t part of a Growth Group, you can ask questions during one of these three meetings: Feb. 3 at 9:30 or 11 a.m. in the office or Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room.

Sanctuary elders will make a recommendation on next steps for The Sanctuary’s future at a Congregational Meeting on Feb. 10. Elders could recommend a merger with Highpoint or another option at that meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m. If elders recommend joining with Highpoint, Sanctuary
members would vote on the proposal in March.

We would like to set aside time every Sunday between services and Tuesdays at 6 a.m. to pray as a body for the next steps for our church. Please make this a priority and join us in the hallway outside the office for weekly prayer.

JAN. 30: Take a break to connect with God during a Night of Worship at The Sanctuary Church! Our worship team will lead this extended time of praising God through song and prayer at 7 p.m. Childcare will be provided for birth to 5th grade.

Men of The Sanctuary are invited to attend a Men’s Conference at Highpoint on Jan. 26. Highpoint is offering Sanctuary men a discounted registration of $30 (normally $50). Register at highpoint.church/menscon and enter the promo code: SANCTUARY. Pastor Ronn will be leading one of the break-out sessions at the conference.

Men, come for breakfast and stay to build relationships with God and others. The Fight Club meets 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Feb. 2 in the lobby.

For the last nine years, The Sanctuary has had the privilege of bringing “Loved!,” a spa event, to our local domestic violence shelter. We are looking for people who love to paint nails, do make-up and offer hospitality, as well as massage therapists, aestheticians and setup or take down volunteers. We have limited volunteer slots so sign up early for this wonderful event on Feb. 8.

If you are looking for an easy and meaningful way to serve in our community, sign up to partner with Morningstar Mission. We have the opportunity to help serve dinner to those without homes 3:45 to 6 p.m. Feb. 9. There is room for seven volunteers.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and you would like to be baptized, plan to participate in one of our regular morning worship services at 9:30 or 11 a.m March 3. A baptism class will be offered during second service on Feb. 24 in the office. Please sign up at the Info Table.

Our junior high and high school ministries meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays for student-led worship, large group teaching, small group discussion and tons of FUN! Feel free to arrive at 6:30 for hangout time.
