This fall, men will dive into a study, called, “Play the Man.” Somewhere along the way, our culture lost its definition of manhood, leaving generations of men and men-to-be confused about their roles, responsibilities, relationships, and the reason God made them men. The Fight Club meets 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Nov. 18; Dec. 2, 16.


Hope for the Holidays, our annual fair trade holiday bazaar is coming 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 17 and  10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 18! Make plans to shop with a purpose when you give a gift that gives twice! Proceeds from the event go to help artisan families living in third world countries. The event will include live music, plus a coffee bar and treats Friday evening (Nov. 17) and the chance to experience ethnic food options on Saturday (Nov. 18). For more info, visit


We will have Child Dedication during the worship services on Dec. 3. If you would like to have your child dedicated to the Lord, sign up at the Info Table for the 9:30 or 11 a.m. service and plan to come to the child dedication class offered during second service Nov. 26 in the Green Room.


Christmas is a time of parties, presents and good cheer. But how do you approach Christmas if you are walking through a dark time in life? Experience the hope that can be found in Christ at this year’s Women’s Link Christmas tea. Terri DeVries, author of “On the Way Home,” will be sharing her personal journey through grief after the sudden death of her husband. Enjoy a catered dinner and a relaxing evening with friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 8. Bring a friend! Cost is $15. Register in the lobby or online.


Share the joy of Christmas by donating new gifts to the Bolingbrook Christian Health Center. Items are needed for ages 1 to 18 and will be collected at the Info Table. Gifts will be distributed on Dec. 10 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. as we join Gente Unida and The Compass Church in a bilingual service, dinner and a gift mart for those in need in our community, as well as a craft and game time for kids. Due to a scheduling conflict, we have changed the date of our baptism service to Dec. 17. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and you would like to be baptized, plan to participate in one of our regular morning worship services at 9:30 or 11 a.m. A baptism class will be offered during first service on Dec. 3 in the Green Room. Make plans to cheer on The Sanctuary’s junior high and high school students at this year’s Turkey Bowl, Nov. 25! All students are welcome to participate in the co-ed tournament. Come dressed in style with

Our junior high and high school ministries meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays for student-led worship, large group teaching, small group discussion and tons of FUN! Feel free to arrive at 6:30 for hangout time.

Students, pack a lunch and come dressed for Turkey Bowl flag football practice from 1-3 p.m. Sundays at Freedom Park, 1600 Park Place in Bolingbrook! Don’t want to play? Come anyway and watch! Everyone is welcome. Games are on Nov. 25!
