As The Sanctuary explores the idea of becoming a multi-site church, we are inviting all attenders to a meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 to learn more about this possibility. Wade Burnett, a consultant with Multi-Site Solutions, will be presenting information on what it means to be a church campus and answering questions. Sanctuary leaders announced on Sept. 23 that The Sanctuary is considering partnering with a church in Naperville to become one church with multiple campuses. We’ve put together a list of 25 issues to consider. Please download that list and submit your top five concerns to Michele Smith by Oct. 2.

All parents and volunteers are invited to a short meeting after each service on Sunday to learn more about the vision for Kid Life and ask questions of our interim Kid Life Director Team. The meeting will take place in the hallway south of the church office.

Carl Fisher and Michelle Mekeel will work together as a team to lead as interim directors of Kid Life. For the last 18 months, Michelle has worked closely alongside Kid Life Director Rainie Curtiss as a volunteer, and understands the day-to-day operations of our program for children. In the interim, Carl, our Student Life director, will expand his leadership role of our junior high and high school ministry to include birth through fifth grade.

Those who attend the class will learn what spiritual gifts are and take an in-depth test to discover their gifts. Leaders also will help connect spiritual gifts to opportunities to serve at The Sanctuary.
