We have two exciting opportunities coming up to invite your friends and neighbors to learn more about The Sanctuary!

Don’t miss Fall Fest Saturday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. This free family event features crafts, games, inflatables, prizes, taco bar, caramel apples and tons of fun for the whole family! We will also be featuring an incredible show by balloon artist, Smarty Pants! Due to the popularity of the Smarty Pants show, we are asking that you reserve your free tickets here for the 7 p.m. show. (The 6 p.m. show is sold out.)

If you have been looking for an opportunity to invite your friends to church, ask them to attend with you on Oct. 30, for I heart Sunday. We will be launching a new sermon series that will help people understand who we are as a church and why we get so excited about Sunday! We sent an e-mail invitation on Wednesday that you can use to forward to your friends. You also can pick up a stack of print invitations at the Info Table or invite them using our Facebook event . Each family visiting for the first time will receive a free t-shirt.

BLESSING THE BROWNS
One of the families The Sanctuary supports through its Missions budget is Andrew and Alanna Brown. They have been serving in Turkey for several years, but because of increasing danger, they made the difficult decision to move back to the United States this fall. A Target gift registry has been set up so we can bless them with essential items to make their new house a home. Please visit their registry and see how you can help. Gifts can be sent to their home in Michigan or delivered to Mark and Alexis Hyerdall’s house by Oct. 28.

SURGE
Are you longing to connect with God through a time of deep worship and prayer? Join us the first Wednesday of each month at Surge, which is an extended worship service designed to help us step out of the busy pace of life and Revive, Regroup and Recharge. Surge is at 7 p.m. Nov 2. We will have childcare for birth to fifth grade.

ALPHA VISION NIGHT
Do you have a heart for people who have questions about life and faith, but aren’t sure how to respond? Would you like to have a better understanding of how to help people explore their faith? If that’s you, you are invited to come to “Alpha Vision Night” in the Community Room at 7 p.m. Nov. 14. You’ll learn how to help facilitate Alpha at The Sanctuary or how to start one in your neighborhood. Alpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith, with groups running around the globe. The Sanctuary will be starting Alpha in February. Come to the vision night to learn about Alpha and find out how it can help us play our part in helping people become passionate followers of Jesus.

LUNCH WITH THE PASTORS
If you are new to The Sanctuary, make plans to join us for Lunch with the Pastors right after second service on Nov. 13. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our mission and vision, get to know Pastor Ronn and Pastor John and, of course, enjoy lunch together. Childcare will be provided. Sign up at the Info Table if you plan to attend.

Hope for the Holidays, our annual fair trade holiday bazaar is coming 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 18 and  10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19! Make plans to shop with a purpose when you give a gift that gives twice!
