Our Sanctuary photographer will be available again on Sunday to take photos of your family in front of our beautiful Christmas backdrop. Get to church a few minutes early or stay a few minutes late and meet us in the lobby!

Please make plans to join us next Sunday as we celebrate the birth of our awesome Savior! Our Eve of Eve services on Dec. 23 are identical and will include carols and a relevant Biblical message. If you are able, please bring cookies or a snack to share after either service. Invite a friend to join us at The Sanctuary as we experience Living Christmas at 10 a.m. 6 p.m.

“Is there a God?” “Is the Bible reliable?” “Why does God allow pain and suffering?” Beginning Jan. 13, you are invited to explore life’s big questions in an open and authentic way. The Sanctuary is joining churches across the nation that are diving into “exploreGod,” a sermon series that will examine tough questions about God, the Bible, suffering, and related topics. To be part of a discussion group to go deeper into each topic, contact Larry Sault, lpsault@gmail.com

We would like to set aside time every Sunday between services and Tuesdays at 6 a.m. to pray as a body for the next steps for our church. Please make this a priority and join us in the hallway outside the office for weekly prayer.

Jan. 13: Mark your calendars for our next Family Chat as we explore the possibility of joining with Highpoint Church in Naperville. Sanctuary leaders also will be visiting growth groups in January to answer questions about the merger conversation. Please contact an elder if you would like someone to visit your group.

If you are planning to make an end-of-year gift to The Sanctuary, our last service of the year is Dec. 30. Gifts also can be made through our web site or The Sanctuary app. If you prefer to mail a check, it must be postmarked by Dec. 31 to be included in 2017 for tax purposes. Our offices will be close from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1 to give our staff time to celebrate Christmas with their families.

JAN. 9: Women, invite your neighbors and friends to this seven-week study on “Explore God,” Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. Sign up at the Info Table if you plan to attend.

Men of The Sanctuary meet monthly from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. in the Community Room for breakfast, Bible study, discussion and accountability. The next Fight Club meets Dec. 22.

Our junior high and high school ministries meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays for student-led worship, large group teaching, small group discussion and tons of FUN! Feel free to arrive at 6:30 for hangout time.

Students, don’t miss Winter X-Treme 2019 at Camp Timber-Lee in East Troy, Wisconsin. Junior High students will be going Jan. 11-13. High School students will be going Jan. 25-27. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due Dec. 10.
