Karen Hibberd Crebs
Karen is a missionary with Campus Crusade for Christ. She lived in Paris, France, for six years, and now is working with missionaries all over the world as she provides training, mentorship and leadership for missions teams.
Growing up in Bolingbrook, in a family where God was honored, Karen remembers having a desire to know Him better. Yet, it wasn’t until her junior year at Southern Illinois Univerity that she clearly heard that she could have a personal relationship with God through Jesus. That was through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ.
After graduating with a degree in French and International Trade, she joined the staff of CCC, desiring to share the life-changing message of Jesus with college students and to see them grow in their relationship with Him.
For more than nineteen years Karen has served with CCC, six of those years in Paris, France. Her passion to see students transformed by Christ has only deepened as time has gone on. Today her role with The Worldwide Student Network, part of Campus Crusade ministries, involves coaching, training, and teaching staff and interns as they prepare for overseas service; giving leadership in the area of increased ministry effectiveness in major international cities; and serving as liaison between the student ministries of CCC in the U.S. and Western Europe.
In 2009, Karen married the man of her dreams, Tim Crebs, and became step-mom to his three children.
Bruno
With a heart for Missions, KidsTown has been supporting Bruno for the last few years. The kids support their friend, Bruno de Paula Dias, who lives in Brazil. He is a sponsored child through Compassion International, and the kids in KidsTown bring money each week to add to Bruno’s jar!
Bruno lives with his grandmother and is 14 years old. He is responsible for making beds and running errands. His grandmother is employed as a laborer. His favorite activities are ping pong, soccer, and playing with toy cars. He also regularly attends church activities and Bible class.
Please join us in prayer for Bruno and encourage your children to, as well.

Additional
There are many others we support through prayer, partnership, and financial giving. Some of those must remain anonymous in print for security reasons. They serve in countries where Christianity and missionaries from the West are discouraged or outlawed. We are encouraged and blessed to be in relationship with these families as they diligently serve in places where the Gospel is needed desperately. Join us in prayer for these families.
