We will be celebrating the work God is doing in people’s lives on Sunday morning during our baptism service! Join us at either 9:30 or 11 a.m. to celebrate with those who are making a public proclamation of their faith in Jesus Christ.

If you have been thinking about getting baptized, it’s not too late to be part of our services this weekend. Baptism is open to anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior. Just send us an e-mail at eneal@cometotothesanctuary.org, and we will give you all the details you need to get baptized this weekend during either of our Sunday services!

It’s easy to get off track when we think about our identity. We often define ourselves by what we do, rather than the person we were created to be. What do you do when you experience those moments in life when you get lost along the way?
The Bible says we are known by a powerful God. We are rescued by His sacrifice. We are loved unconditionally, and we are freed from our sins. Join us March 10, as we unpack what the Bible says about what we are “also known as.” We will uncover our hidden identity during this new sermon series, “a.k.a.”

Lent is a 40-day season marked by repentance, fasting, reflection and ultimately celebration. Join us on the first day of Lent as we prepare ourselves for the Easter season ahead. We will be worshipping together at 7 p.m. March 6. Childcare will be available for birth to preschool.

Members of The Sanctuary will vote on the proposed merger at a Congregational Meeting on March 17. In the days leading up to that meeting, please pray for God’s wisdom and direction, as well as unity for our church. Please be open to engage in conversation and feel free to e-mail an elder: elders@cometothesanctuary.org. You can pick up a document detailing the proposed merger at the Info Table or you can download it here: http://www.cometothesanctuary.org/agreement/

The Sanctuary will have an Informational Meeting at 6 p.m. March 10 to discuss details of the merger agreement. This is a time to ask questions before the Congregational Meeting. This meeting is open to anyone who attends The Sanctuary.

We will be taking a benevolence offering at the end of service Sunday. This is a special offering that goes directly to help those in our church body who have a financial need. Please look for the ushers as you leave the auditorium.

We would like to set aside time every Sunday between services and Tuesdays at 6 a.m. to pray as a body for the next steps for our church. Please make this a priority and join us in the hallway outside the office for weekly prayer.

The Sanctuary’s 2018 Annual Report is available. Take a look at the report to review highlights, trends, financial updates and important information from the past year. Pick up a copy at the Info Table or download the report here: http://www.cometothesanctuary.org/2018annualreport/.

Come find out what makes The Sanctuary unique. You will learn about the DNA of our church during this four-week group that meets at 11 a.m. Sundays, beginning March 10. Get to know others who are new to The Sanctuary, meet ministry leaders and find out how to take the net step to get involved. For more information contact Emily Neal, eneal@cometothesanctuary.org.

Men, come for breakfast and stay to build relationships with God and others. Meet at Eggs, Inc. in Bolingbrook at 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. March 16.

If you are looking for an easy and meaningful way to serve in our community, sign up to partner with Morningstar Mission. We have the opportunity to help serve dinner to those without homes 3:45 to 6 p.m. March 9. There is room for seven volunteers.

MARCH 24: The Reach Global team will be giving details on short-term mission trips available for singles, couples and families at a lunch after second service. The Sanctuary is planning trips both domestically and overseas this summer and fall. Come hear about the trips to decide which is the right fit for you!

Our junior high and high school ministries meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays for student-led worship, large group teaching, small group discussion and tons of FUN! Feel free to arrive at 6:30 for hangout time.
