Are you longing to connect with God through a time of deep worship and prayer? Join us the first Wednesday of each month at Surge, which is an extended worship service designed to help us step out of the busy pace of life and Revive, Regroup and Recharge. The next Surge is Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. We will have childcare for birth to fifth grade.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month! We will be celebrating Pastor Ronn, Pastor John and their families with donuts after each service on Oct. 29. Please consider showing your appreciation to our awesome pastors by writing them a note or blessing them with a gift or gift card that day.

As we launch our two-year vision, we want to encourage every family in our church body to experience the heart of Together by walking through a Together Bible study. You can go through the study with your Growth Group, join a women’s Bible study or do the study with a friend or family member. Sign up at the Info Table if you would like to be part of a new group that will be meeting on Tuesday evenings to go through the Together study during the five-week series. Women’s Bible studies will be meeting Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings to do the study. The study guide will be available beginning Oct. 22 at the Info Table, on our web site and on The Sanctuary app. Stop by the Info Table to get more info on joining a group or women’s Bible study.
This fall, men will dive into a study, called, “Play the Man.” Somewhere along the way, our culture lost its definition of manhood, leaving generations of men and men-to-be confused about their roles, responsibilities, relationships, and the reason God made them men. The Fight Club meets 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Nov. 4, 18; Dec. 2, 16.

We will have a child dedication during the worship services on Dec. 3. If you would like to have your child dedicated to the Lord, sign up at the Info Table.

Make a difference in the life of a child by helping pack shoe boxes that will be donated this Christmas to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine and disease. Bring your family to this event from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 7. Please visit for suggestions on what to include in the boxes. You can drop off all donations at the Info Table. After packing the boxes, we will pray over them and enjoy refreshments of cookies and milk.

If you are looking for an easy and meaningful way to serve in our community, sign up to partner with Morningstar Mission. We have the opportunity to help serve dinner to those without homes 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 10 and 24. There is room for seven volunteers on each date.

Due to a scheduling conflict, we have changed the date of our baptism service to Dec. 17. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and you would like to be baptized, plan to participate in one of our regular morning worship services at 9:30 or 11 a.m. A baptism class will be offered during first service on Dec. 3 in the Green Room. Please sign up at the Info Table.

Hope for the Holidays, our annual fair trade holiday bazaar is coming 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 17 and  10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 18! Make plans to shop with a purpose when you give a gift that gives twice! Proceeds from the event go to help artisan families living in third world countries. The event will include live music, plus a coffee bar and treats Friday evening (Nov. 17) and the chance to experience ethnic food options on Saturday (Nov. 18). For more info, visit
